1. When is this task due?
This task is due by 4pm (Brisbane time) on
Thursday, 28 March 2024.

Read the Grading Rubric carefully, and

IT problems are NOT an acceptable

Write an email to all Charr’d staff (copy in the
CEO separately), reminding them about how to
manage workplace safety risks and hazards. You
can find information about workplace safety risks
and hazards in the food retail industry in this

On behalf of your CEO, write a formal complaint
letter to the CEO of one of your supplier
companies, “Letus.”
Because this email is going to everyone in the
company (CEO, middle managers, and frontline
workers), you should provide enough detail to
help staff who are working in a variety of
situations (e.g., offices and restaurants).
Letus supplies fresh leafy green vegetables (e.g.,
lettuce, spinach) to Charr’d, which are used on a
wide range of burgers. However, the quality of
their products has declined in recent months while
costs have gone up. You can find information

healthy “Brumfitt Burgers.”
To become an effective communicator, you need
to think critically about your own writing and
understand how your audience is likely to react to
it. Small details – such as the order in which you
present information and which verbs you choose –
can make a lot of difference.
You need to prepare a “new product” media
release that could be published (without
alteration) on both the Charr’d website and by a
lifestyle magazine.
