The most important thing to your friend is a cost breakdown; they need to know how much they will spend on everything to plan ahead. When presenting the vacation information to your friend, you will also provide an estimated budget for the trip so your friend will have the total cost and the specific expenditures.
Instructions
Using Microsoft Excel, create a vacation budget that includes the following:
Transportation cost (plane or train ticket or estimated gas price based on mileage)
Lodging cost
Estimated costs for food and activities
Include any other costs identified during research
You can use a budget template in Excel or create your own, but the document must:
Utilize headers to show organized information
Utilize formulas, including the SUM formula to show the total cost of the trip
Include a chart of the cost categories
Be organized and readable
