Ive been a police officer for 3 years and worked as a patrolman, a detective in the drug unit, and just recently been promoted to the rank of Sergeant. I am also in charge of the community engagement unit where I need to come up with ideas to build connections within the community. My time in the drug unit I spent alot of time evaluating people and trying to figure out why they went down the path of using drugs. When I made an arrest id try my best to get them help or use my communcation skills to flip them and turn them into an informant to create more cases and to get more dealers off the street.
