Write a one to two page paper that must be submitted on Canvas by the due date listed in the syllabus “Course Outline”:

Before writing the 3 required paragraphs, list the specific job title, salary range, job description, and required education/certification.

Paragraph #1 will discuss a particular industry in which you are interested with specific factual employment data.
Paragraph #2 will discuss a particular company within that industry with specific factual data.
Paragraph #3 will discuss a particular job within that company with specific factual data.

Include a minimum of three links to the specific references about the industry, employment opportunities, and/or companies that you have researched. Be specific, don’t just give links to general websites like glassdoor.com or monster.com.

Students may NOT use careers such as movie star, professional athlete, corporate CEO or other “one in a million” jobs. For this assignment the career must be one that a student is likely to obtain within 5 -10 years of completing their education. For the aspiring actor, and professional athlete, choose the career that you will enter if you get an injury or career obstacle that prevents you from achieving professional status.

Students planning to be an entrepreneur or business owner should choose a career that would best prepare you for ownership. For example, if you want to be a restaurant owner, do a career plan for a restaurant manager.
