DO complete ALL sections
○ You need 20 organisms total
○ Include the amount of energy the organism receives at its trophic
level (except decomposers)
○ Include the classification of the organism: producer, primary
consumer, secondary consumer, tertiary consumer, decomposer.
DO include arrows to connect your organisms in the food web.
○ DO remember that the arrowhead points in the direction of the
organism receiving the energy (doing the eating).
○ DO NOT draw random lines. The arrows and connections need to
make sense.

DO make sure that each organism has connections.
The next page is an example of a partially completed food
web template. You should add your own information to your
copy using what you included on the organization page
(Slide 2), as well as the appropriate arrows, and even
pictures (if you choose).
*You should have overlapping lines/arrows. If you do not
have overlapping lines/arrows, it is not a food web!
Example
In the instruction video, I discussed cow consuming the bacteria.
Instead, I should have said that the bacteria decomposes the
cow (It was late and I was tired!)
