Cloud service architectures are designed to meet the distinctive requirements of individual organizations. Cloud computing offers compelling features and provides considerable opportunities. However, the development of fault-tolerance in the scope of cloud computing service architectures is still in its infancy and must be addressed thoroughly. As cloud administrators it is very important to design fault avoidance and prevention approaches are necessary to counter that occur due to software and hardware failures. Therefore, it is recommended that you review a journal article or conference publication from a reputable conference like IEEE, Springer, Elsevier or any Scopus or SCI indexed publication that is related to cloud fault-tolerance by analyzing fault categories, tools, metrics, methods and applied fault-tolerance frameworks considering reactive and proactive approaches and existing fault-tolerance architecture/frameworks and outline future research directions specific to cloud computing fault-tolerance.
