As you have learned in this module, CPGs support evidence-based nursing practice and guide the transfer of evidence-based practices into the clinical setting.
Instructions
As a professional nurse, you are expected to know how to find and use CPGs. Using the following websites, search for a CPG based on an area of interest.

Then, write a 200–250 word initial post sharing the CPG you located based on your area of interest and answer the discussion prompts. Respond to at least two of your peers’ posts.

Instructions
Give an example of a negative or positive experience you observed or were involved in within the clinical area. This can be with a patient, family member, nurse, or other healthcare professional.
Write a 1- to 2-page paper describing the event, the roles of the people involved, and how it was handled. There should be evidence of reflection and critical thinking. Examples of such experiences used in this entry could include the following:
Patient outcome or patient satisfaction with care, based on how the patient was managed (which could relate to pain control, end of life care, living will, power of attorney, HIPAA, patient informed consent, handoff report, interdisciplinary rounding, surgical time out, hospital-acquired infection, VAP, pressure ulcer, CAUTI, CLABSI)

Conflict and/or conflict resolution
Summarize the hospital CPGs and/or policies as they relate to this incident.
If there is no CPG or policy, find a CPG or policy from another organization that could be implemented at this organization and summarize.
