Description
i need help in writing research paper which includes 4 sections (statement of the problem, qualitative conceptual framework, qualitative purpose statement, and qualitative research design. BUT first, I need you to EDIT MY RESEARCH TOPIC. i attached the document that has detailed instructions. i need you to use highly peer reviewed sources. also i need you to do APA reference but please include the page number in the in text citation and reference list. example: Last name of author, year of publication, p. page number
Example: (Mueller, 2018, p. 20)

I. I need you to edit my research topic.
II. Write these 4 sections for the new edited research topic:
a. Statement of the Problem
Instructions: I need you to edit my statement of the problem
Prepare a fully referenced statement of the problem section including topic,
research problem, justification of the importance of the problem, deficiencies in our
existing knowledge and audiences. This should be 600-800 words without the
references.
b. Qualitative Conceptual Framework
Instructions: I need you to edit my conceptual framework based on the feedback
given to me and adjust it to the new research topic (attached document “Feedback
Conceptual Framework”)
A conceptual framework represents the beliefs on how certain phenomena are
related to each other (a model). The model flows logically from the documentation
of previous research in the problem area. Integrating beliefs with published
research, taking into consideration the boundaries and constraints governing the
situation, is pivotal in developing a scientific basis for investigating the research
problem. The process of building a conceptual framework includes:
• Introducing definitions of the concepts in the model.
• Explicit statements that explain how the relevant and high-quality
literature is being used in the study
• Developing a conceptual model that synthesizes the existing views in
the literature drawn from multiple sources concerning a given
situation – both theoretical and from empirical findings (graph)
• Coming up with a model that gives a broader understanding of the
phenomenon of interest
Length: 500 words + graph
Sources: min. 10 high quality peer reviewed sources (seminal papers for definitions
or theories and recent publications for the current state of knowledge)
c. QUALITATIVE Purpose statement
Instructions: Prepare a fully reference purpose statement
• A good purpose statement should identify the study’s focus, intent, framework,
participants, and setting.
• The intent is stated in a precise manner and indicates what is to be learned about
the central phenomenon.
• The focus of the study is a single central phenomenon that is clearly identified. It
is a broad, general concept, activity, or process that is experienced by individuals.
• The framework that guides the research is identified and verbally briefly
explained (taken from the conceptual framework).
• The people and settings to be studied are clearly identified and clearly fit the
study’s focus and intent.
• The purpose is narrowed through appropriate research questions that clearly
follow from the overall purpose to explore the central phenomenon and related
issues.
• The purpose and research questions are
o broad and general;
o stated with neutral and open-ended language;
o allowed to emerge and change during the study;
o aimed at exploring individuals’ perceptions and experiences such
as to generate a theory, provide description, and/or identify thematic patterns.
Prepare a fully referenced Research design section (in accordance with LBS Scientific
Standards).
d. QUALITATIVE Research design:
An appropriate qualitative research design is outlined and justified
• There is an overall plan for conducting the study, such as basic qualitative
research (qualitative cross sectional), phenomenology, case study, grounded
theory ethnography, narrative research,…
• The design fits the study’s intent
• A convincing explanation for why the specific research design was
selected is provided
The sampling strategy is appropriate and justified.
• A good purposeful sampling strategy (Intensity, extreme case, homogenous,
maximal variation, theory, typical, confirming, opportunistic, snowball) is
used to select the sites and participants.
• The sampling procedures used are fully described and match the selected
sampling strategy
• Strong reasons are provided that justify why the sampling strategy was
appropriate for the study
The sample size is appropriate and justified.
• The sample size is consistent with the selected research design.
• A sound rationale is provided to justify that the sample size is
appropriate to answer the research questions.
The data collection strategy as well as data types are described
• A detailed account how the data will be collected (interviews, focus group,
observations, documents, AV materials) is provided
• The data types (unstructured text like interviews, structured text like articles
or AV recordings) are clearly well suited for learning about the central
phenomenon with the selected participants
The data analysis strategy is described
• A detailed account how the data (thematic analysis, template analysis,
framework analysis, IPA or grounded theory) will be analyzed is provided. A
coding strategy is provided (1st cycle; 2nd cycle)
• Validating strategies are provided (Bracketing, Triangulation, Member
checking, Auditing) are indicated
