Part1 Week 10 Discussion – Onboarding As part of its staffing strategy, an organization should have in place a comprehensive onboarding plan – an orientation experience that welcomes new employees to the organization and to the employee’s role. Onboarding should provide information and resources (including people) to ensure employee success, quality performance, and staff retention. Think back on a personal experience you’ve had being onboarded at a new job. Then answer the following: What was the most positive and constructive part of your onboarding?This can include training materials, the availability of co-workers for questions or advice, opportunities for team building or experiencing company culture, or any factor that eased your transition into your new role.What was the least positive part of your onboarding?This can include anything that made you feel less than welcome as a team member or that negatively impacted your performance.
