You will use the photo below as a photo reference. After creating your borders, use your black ink to create the trunks of your trees. Use dark ink straight from the bottle to create the trees closest to you, and then add water to your ink to lighten up the trees as they recede. Please watch the demonstration video to see how it is done.Next, use your black conte pencil to create more texture, detail and value. The most detail and texture should be done on the trees closest to you. Do not worry about depicting every leaf and twig you see.
