PEER POST 1
My name is Frederick Williams. I currently reside in Worcester, Massachusetts, and have been here for a while now. I am pursuing Cybersecurity as my major. Nice to meet you all.
An example of systems thinking in the world outside of computer networking is transportation. In a well-designed, the layout of roads and public transportation systems is carefully planned to minimize traffic congestion, reduce environmental pollution, and enhance accessibility for residents. Planners also consider how zoning laws, public services, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and recreational areas are distributed throughout the city to promote equitable access and social cohesion.
By applying systems thinking, urban planners can create more livable, sustainable, and resilient cities that address the complex and interconnected challenges of modern urban environments.
PEER POST 2
Hi, I’m Joey I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity. An example of systems thinking in the outside world such as planning and strategy in sports, to logistics of trains and airplanes landing and going off. Each require a lot of thought planning and consideration to have smooth operation from each individual functions and to amass it all in a chart or graph to understand the whole system as well get better understanding of what’s happening and can be improved. The same thing for network security understanding each device, needs employee, security and keeping track of IP and other Identifying information setting up firewalls and monitoring responses and plans need to be thought about systematically and approach from a grander scheme to make sure everything works together the larger the systems the more complicated it can become, and system thinking can help break down these complexities.
