Description
For this assignment, you will plan a family activity for parents, family members, and children to participate in. Students will showcase their activity idea in-class. The activities should be ones that parents can easily replicate at home with their children. Some sample themes include arts and crafts, book night, or you can come up with your own idea. Include other information as appropriate (for example, if you are doing a book night, prepare a list of suggested books for parents to refer to at home).- Submit the following in your write-up:• An agenda for the family activity session• An introduction describing your activity to parents (write out a script of what you would say to parents to introduce your activity)• A list of materials needed for your activity• Step-by step instructions for the activityYou can submit this write-up in the format of your choice (i.e. Word file, powerpoint, etc.)
