Description
I need help writing an annotated bibliography for my writing skills class. I need to search for five academic sources supporting why everyone should attend college, summarize the source, state the purpose of the source, and do a CRAAP test for each source (150–200 words)
Step One:
Instead of writing an essay, create a thesis statement and an annotated bibliography.
Step Two:
Look at the documentation on how to make an annotated bibliography in the assessment folder.
Step Three (Structure of the Project):
Describe your topic (200–300 words): Explain what your essay will be about, your thesis statement, and why you chose this topic.
Annotated Bibliography:
List five academic articles directly related to your topic.
Each source should have a summary of key findings, the source’s primary purpose, and an evaluation using the CRAAP test.
Include hyperlinks for each source.
Each annotation should be 150–200 words.
Useful Resource:
Consult Purdue Owl for guidance, specifically using APA 7.
Rubric (How You’ll Be Graded):
20% for the clarity and depth of the topic description.
20% for the relevance and reliability of your chosen sources.
20% for accurately summarizing the key findings or arguments of each source.
20% for the insightfulness and thoroughness of your source evaluations.
20% for overall writing quality, including clarity, conciseness, adherence to APA 7, and absence of grammatical errors.
In a nutshell, choose a prompt, create a thesis and an annotated bibliography following the provided guidelines and resources, and make sure to adhere to the grading rubric for a successful final project.
