All Capella University graduate degree programs require a set number of core class credits,
specialization class credits, and/or elective course credits. These courses are divided into three
categories with total credit hours required for each category. To find information about the these

Certain psychology courses are required for a learner to be granted an MS in Psychology from
Capella University. Starting with PSY5002 as the first course requirement, please list the

requires planning. You need to understand all the tasks you will be expected to
undertake and the courses you must complete to be successful in your program. In
this assessment, you will construct a plan for completing your academic program.
Note: The assessments in this course build upon one another, so you are strongly
encouraged to complete them in sequence.
It’s important to prepare and plan ahead to ensure you are successful in completing
your graduate program. Planning for completing your degree includes identifying
program requirements and the core courses you must complete. In addition to
required courses, you will also take specialization courses that are specific to the
specialization in which you are enrolled. The Graduate Program Planning Worksheet
can help you plan for a successful graduate experience.
For this assessment:
1. Complete all fields on the Graduate Program Planning Worksheet

2. When you are satisfied with your entries to the worksheet and have made
all necessary revisions, submit the worksheet no later than 11:59 p.m. CST
Sunday.
You will also want to save the worksheet to your computer for future reference.
