Notes-Bibliography System
In the Notes and Bibliography system, you should include a note (endnote or footnote) each time you use
a source, whether through a direct quote, paraphrase, or summary. Footnotes are added at the end of the
page on which the source is referenced, while endnotes are compiled at the end of the document.

images should be placed at the end of the draft (one image per page labeled Fig. 1, etc.). Images are

Draft
All research papers require an introduction, body, and conclusion; however, the draft should focus on the
introduction and the body of the paper.
Grading Guidelines
If your paper is shorter than required 1500 words, a certain percentage will be deducted from your score.
The deduction will be calculated in the following way: Actual word count x 100 divided by 1500. For
example, you have turned in a 1400-word draft. 1400 x 100 / 1500 = 93% out of 100%. 7% will be
deducted from your score.
