Purpose
The purpose of this assignment is for student to reflect on the primary influences on the development of their personal values and ethics. In addition, students will be challenged to explain perceived conflicts as it relates to their personal values vs. professional values/social work code of ethics.
Requirements
The Ethical Personal Reflection Assignment will be graded on the completion of 3-5 page in which you demonstrate critical self-awareness of your personal ethics, what life experiences/lesson have shaped your ethics, and how your personal ethics will impact your practice as medical social worker. You will also be graded on your use of citations, use of Standard English grammar, sentence structure, and overall organization/effectiveness based on the required components as summarized in the directions and grading criteria/rubric.
Create your paper using Microsoft Word (a part of Microsoft Office), which is the required format for all Chamberlain College documents. You can tell that the document is saved as a MS Word document because it will end in “.docx”
Follow the directions and grading criteria closely. Any questions about your assignment may be posted under the Q & A Forum.
The length of the exercise is to be no less than 3 pages and no greater than 5 pages excluding title page and reference pages.
APA format is required with both a title page and reference page but no abstract. Use the required components of the review as Level 1 headings (upper and lower case, centered, boldface):

Also explain any perceived conflict as it relates to your personal values vs. professional values/social work code of ethics.
