This grading scheme is nice; I haven’t seen it implemented in a classroom before, and I think your busier pupils will benefit greatly from it. I understand that you accept the fact that not everyone is a full-time student who lives at home with their parents or in a hostel. I believe that everyone in this room is clearly aiming for an A, including myself. However, life also gets in the way, and for me, my personal and professional lives come before my academic work in college. While that doesn’t mean I won’t be on top of my work, I feel like I have a choice and my professor is working with me for the first time in my academic career. So I’m grateful.

For myself and my friends, I believe the new Labor Based marking system for this subject will be a pleasant change of pace. I will be able to put my own professional touch to all compositions since I will be able to concentrate more on finishing my schoolwork on time rather than needing to cram and make sure every essay is flawless for the professor to grade. I’m grateful that you were understanding and trusted us to test out this new grading system!
