For this assignment you will need to compare the three main Sociological Perspectives (Structural Functionalist, Social Conflict Theory,
and Symbolic Interactionist) and summarize some of the main ideas of the main theorists (Emile Durkheim, Max Weber, and Karl
Marx). I have provided these three individuals as they will be the ones we talk about most often throughout the semester. I would like
additional information that is not listed in the lecture notes or the textbook.
This is your chance to add to your knowledge of the information and provide you with a foundation for the rest of the class. I am not
looking for anything specific, but rather what you find interesting. This can include short biographies, ideas, theories, etc. Please do
