Concepts Explored: pH; acids, bases, neutral solutions; factors affecting pH; buffers; pH in household solutions.
Experiments: In this set of procedures you will test the pH of household and biological solutions. You will also study how buffers work when acids or bases are added to a solution. This activity will require about 2 hours.
Please log in to the TableTop Science website, follow the directions for Lab 1 Acids and Bases, and submit the completed activity form in this assignment folder by the due date posted in the syllabus. Remember to take the required snapshot(s) of your results (minimum one screenshot, more may be required by your professor).
