Description
The Court has been more willing to restrict freedom of expression in certain times and allowed more liberal standards in other times. Look at the specific cases that deal with freedom of speech.
Address these 2 issues in your post and debate response:
1. Are you satisfied with the standards that the Court has provided?
2. Do you feel that the standards should be more or less precise, allowing for more or less freedom in interpreting the standard?
Team Leader to argue, “No, I do not agree”; Team Member to argue. “Yes, I agree.”Requirements:
A. Make your initial argument addressing the listed issues – limit your post to 500 words (about 1 page). Do not rely solely on the course textbook. Outside research may be necessary and is encouraged to help you see the big picture concerning the issues, form your own opinions, and frame your thoughts into concise arguments. You do not have to wait for your team member to make their initial post before you make your initial post.
B. Respond to your partner’s initial post in a debate manner – point out strengths and weaknesses of their post; state why you have a different perspective on the issue and back up your statements with facts.
C. Cite your sources using APA guidelines and include the full reference at the end of your post.
D. Be kind to your team member – don’t wait until the assignment is due to make your post. Your team member needs time to respond to you.
