Due Saturday by 11:59pm
Points 15
Submitting a website url or a file upload
For this assignment, you’ll create an infographic that you will share with the class.
First, choose a topic:
Cancer (pick either lung, breast, skin, or colorectal)
Strokes
Heart disease
Diabetes
Depression
Then, create an Infographic about this topic that includes:
Four statistics and/or facts about the health condition or disease (presented using a graphic or along
with an image)
One resource
At the bottom, share the source(s) of the data that you present
Please make sure that your work is original – do not copy an existing infographic.
There are a number of graphic design sites you can use to create your infographic:
Canva
(https://www.canva.com/) (free, may have limited use of icons, limitations with types of file
downloads, or watermarks – this is all fine, please do not pay for any extras/usage)
PiktoChart
(https://piktochart.com/) (similar to Canva)
Word or PowerPoint
Google Docs
Icons from The Noun Project
(https://thenounproject.com/)
Once you submit, I will add to a shared document that all students in the class will be able to see.
If you have an idea for a different chronic disease, please let me know. Extra credit points if you make
your graphic accessible (or describe in an additional document or text box – option if you research but
are not able to do).
Lastly, feel free to take a look at other infographics to inspire you or give you examples (but please make
sure that you create something new).
