Assessment Description
Assessment plays a significant role in the educational setting. Counselors may want to assess what students have learned in class, or they may want to find out the extent to which students are able to learn more advanced material. A variety of testing instruments are used in all levels of education.
Write a 750-1,000-word paper about the significance of intelligence testing in academic/educational or other settings. Include the following in your paper:
An explanation of the significance of intelligence tests
The attributes (psychometrics, normative culture, language, and so forth) of a specific intelligence test.
An example of when it would be appropriate to administer the intelligence test you listed the attributes for the above test, in an academic and/or education setting, and why
An explanation of how the results of administering this test, in your example, could cultivate a better diagnostic understanding of the client.
A minimum of three scholarly resources.
