Research a period or instance of ethnic violence in history. Topics can include: the holocaust, apartheid, colonization of North America, Ethiopia’s ethnic cleansing, colonization in Africa, the Rohingya ethnic cleansing, the Syrian refugee crisis, Jim Crow laws, slavery in the United States, racism and lynching in the United States, etc. Describe this instance or time period using at least one outside reference. Evaluate how this experience might affect the mental health of its survivors. Responses should be 600 words or longer. Use at least three scholarly references. APA 7 style required for formatting and any references used.
