With our BASE PLAN in place, lets continue to build on the previous file and develop our 3D structure… again combining the various drawing, model organization, AND layer management tools learned so far!

INSTRUCTIONS
Using the previous SKP file you created for your Office Space AND Conference Room BASE PLAN, perform a SAVE AS to build on the previous work for this 3-dimensional exercise, again, as a single SKP file submission.
*Before you start* consider how you should model and group like objects together, before drawing anything else, ie;
Model the Walls ****with door and window passthroughs***, group the Walls
Model the Door, group the Door
Model the Window, group the Window
In simple massing model form shown in the deliverable image above, model your furniture
model the Desk, then group the Desk
Model the Task Chair, group the Task Chair…….. and so on.
If any of the furniture is a repeated item, model it as a component!
USE THE FLOOR PLAN PROVIDED
This course introduces various software and drawing techniques, it does NOT cover how to Space Plan.
Do NOT create your own space plan.
Use guidelines and reference the dimensions in the Floor Plans provided.

Assign your Groups or Components to a Tag (formerly known as ‘Layers’)

Turn off your layer visibility 1 by 1 and make sure your grouped geometry has been assigned correctly.
Save your file with a meaningful file name;
ie. the Course Name_Assignment Name_Your Name
ie. INTE 112B_Mod X Assignment-Tag Management 3D, Frida Khalo
Submit your file to be graded.
