Create a digital presentation (PowerPoint, etc.) of 10-12 slides describing the relationship between bipolar and related disorders, depressive disorders, and substance use disorders. Record your 7-10 min presentation via Zoom and provide the Zoom link to your instructor. View the “Video Best Practices” resource before you begin recording. Include the following in your presentation:
Include a title page slide.
Describe a specific bipolar disorder.
Describe a specific depressive disorder.
Describe a specific anxiety disorder.
Include diagnostic criteria from the current version of the DSM for bipolar and depressive disorders.
Explain the relationship between substance use disorders and both bipolar and depressive disorders.
Explain the relationship between substance use disorders and anxiety disorders.
Identify a recommended treatment intervention to be used for a client with a bipolar or a depressive disorder, along with a co-occurring substance use disorder and anxiety disorders.
Include a reference page slide that includes a minimum of one scholarly resource, in addition to the textbook.
Include detailed speaker notes.
