In this module, you examined the benefits of branding and the components of a brand. Visual identifiers and visual cues, in particular, are critical for a brand to communicate their core essence and values to their customers.
In this assignment, you will examine your brand’s identity, and evaluate if the branding is successful or not.
Create a visual presentation, using a visual presentation software, including the following information:
brand personality: What are the overall feelings and emotions that your brand communicates? Use images and three to four adjectives to describe your brand’s personality. You can find relevant images from the brand website and social media.
branding elements: Find images of the brand logo and any related symbols. What are the main brand colors used? Hint: The brand colors will be seen in the logo, and other brand materials, such as shopping bags, store interiors, and other marketing materials. Use colored shapes to show the brand colors.
brand collateral: Find images to show how the brand communicates their visual identity through various physical and digital methods. For example, signage and shopping bags in the store, shipping boxes, lookbooks, social media platforms, and websites. Find at least eight visual examples.
branding strategy evaluation: Based on the branding you examined, do you think the brand identity and communication is connected to the brand’s mission and vision? Explain why and how. Is the overall branding successful or not? Explain why.
